What's New in 3.5.1?
Verification improvements for HID Mobile Access: Credentials go live once confirmed on the user’s device, helping every mobile ID work right from the start. AVRO Mobile 3.5.1 is available to all customers Monday, October 26th, on Apple App Store and Google Play.
Want to improve your HID credential workflow? With verification enabled, AVRO Mobile confirms each credential is installed on the user’s device before activating it and sending it to your door access system. The result: a smoother setup for every new mobile ID.
Even after updating the mobile app to 3.5.1, this feature is optional and not enabled by default. It requires a quick environment setup by our team. Get in touch to schedule enablement for your organization.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Do we need to do anything? No. AVRO Mobile 3.5.1 works as usual for your users with no changes required. Enabling verification is optional.
- How do we turn on verification? Contact your ITC Account Manager or get in touch. We’ll set up your environment and enable the feature for your organization.
- Why might a user’s HID credential need to be renewed after updating? This is standard behaviour whenever the AVRO Mobile app is updated, not specific to this release. After any update, the HID credential completes a one-time sync, which may take up to 24 hours before it’s active again.
