ABOUT THE ROLE

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized Accounting Specialist to join our Finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role provides accounting support across multiple entities within the organization.

This is a newly created position and an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in accounting who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is eager to take initiative and grow professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable, including invoice processing, approvals, and payment preparation

• Prepare and reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and employee expenses

• Complete monthly sales tax reconciliations and filings

• Monitor cash positions and support cash flow management activities

• Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments

• Support general accounting functions across AP, AR, general ledger, and tax compliance

• Contribute to process improvements and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma in Accounting or Finance with 2+ years of relevant experience

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and processes

• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently

• Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and urgency

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Quick learner with adaptability to new systems and technologies

• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively across teams

• Experience with SAP Business One, Zoho, or Float AP is an asset

Pay: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
