ITC Systems’ Print Manager software is the premier cost recovery solution for network printing environments. Capable of monitoring an unlimited number of print queues and printers, Print Manager’s user friendly interface and seamless payment facility make it easy for your patrons to display, select, pay for and print their jobs on a self-serve basis.

To print, patrons enter their method of payment (cash or card) into the payment device, select their jobs and click ‘print’ to release to the defined printer. Print Manager tracks the total cost for print jobs, total number of pages to print and, after the job is released, displays the remaining card balance.

Patrons appreciate its simplicity and administrators its cost effectiveness.

Client Release Station

Client Release Station Module

In this popular configuration recommended for moderate to high volume installations the software resides on the release station PC. It effectively manages jobs on the network, counts pages, deletes stale jobs, logs each transaction and charges for jobs via a payment device linked to its COM port.

Popup Module

PopUp for PCs Module

Frequently combined with Module 6040-C, PopUp for PCs works with the Client Release Station to enhance patron privacy. The desktop PC, where the print job originates, displays a popup screen instructing the patron to enter a user ID and password. At the release station the patron is prompted to re-enter this information. Only their jobs will be shown on the print release screen. PopUp, as a stand alone system is recommended for low volume installations. Configurable to charge by the print job at each desktop PC, a payment terminal is linked to the PC’s COM port.

Pop Up for the Apple Macintosh

Combined with Module 6040-S, the Popup for the Apple Macintosh supports both release station and workstation billing. For Release Station payment the Mac Station, where the print job originates, displays a popup screen instructing the patron to enter a user ID and password. At the release station the patron is prompted to re-enter this information to display and pay for only their own print jobs. With workstation billing the popup screen will prompt users to enter an optional Deparmental ID. The print job will then be billed directly to their online Multiplan Gold account based on their login credentials and be tracked against the Departmental ID entered.

Server Module

Best suited for large systems and high volume installations where distributed printing is required, the Server Module’s configuration improves system performance and network traffic. The 6040-S monitors the jobs and counts the pages leaving the release station free to display print jobs and manage payment. PopUp for PCs can also be included in this configuration to enhance patron privacy.

PC Paytron Software

ITC Systems’ computer time/pay for print software is ideal for charging for word processing, internet use or for printing within the retail center. To utilize the PC or printer, the patron simply inserts their Cash Card into the model 1500 Card Reader. Funds will be deducted in accordance with the jobs performed. Different rates can be charged based on the printer chosen and for black and white versus color prints.

Print Manager Stand Alone Solution

ITC Systems’ Print Manager Stand Alone is a pay for print solution that resides on a single PC with Windows Operating System. The Stand Alone solution acts as a client release station and charges for prints via an ITC Systems’ Card Reader. The application is ideal for smaller pay for print environments that do not require an extensive network of PCs.
