We are pleased to announce an opening for Software Applications Engineer position (senior/team lead) where you will be working closely with the V.P. of Engineering. ITC Systems offers a dynamic work environment where you will lead our team of engineers on day to day basis and also liaise with several other departments as teamwork is vital throughout our organization. The overall mandate of this position is to develop and enhance our software applications that fit into ITC Systems’ market of cashless transaction solutions. These include applications for the web, servers and client computers. Challenge your development, coding and debugging skills, while working with some of the latest technology the industry has to offer. This opportunity will be measured against demonstrated capability in the following areas:
Job Description
1. Perform Windows programming, WPF, MS Expression Blend, ASP.NET, C# and C++
2. Use of Visual Studio 2005/2008/2010 and C++ Builder 5
3. Direct, help and mentor other team members
4. Web service development
5. Applications, dB models, Custom DLLs
6. Database development & dB normalization for MS SQL (SQL, Stored Procedures, Triggers, Views, Distributed Queries);
7. Design user friendly GUI interfaces
8. Architect code structure for team projects
9. Engineering Manual, Validation & Protocol Documentation
10. Preliminary Software Testing
11. Source code archival and issue tracking
Qualifications
1. Knowledge of network architecture
2. Experience with Team Coherence
3. Experience with IIS management and web site deployment
4. Understanding of the software development lifecycle and ability to estimate and meet deadlines
5. Good written and verbal communication skills
6. University Degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or other related field)
7. Certified Microsoft Professional is an asset
8. Experience with Object Oriented Programming, .NET Development, SQL design & development
