UPOS Terminals Copier and Serial Applications

Picture

ITC Systems' Copier Control Terminals provide streamlined trackable cash flow, while magnetic stripe card provide easy, cashless convenience to the user.

ITC Systems' Copier Controllers provide access to a given machine through the use of an encoded reusable plastic card. Three types of Copier Controllers are offered: Magnetic Card Stored Value, Smart Card Stored Value and NetLink Online UPOS Terminals.

These terminals are extremely versatile and can be adapted to most self serve environments and equipment that accept cash or require authorized access. Once the system is implemented, controlling and accounting for costs and cash flow is simple and accurate.

All terminals verify a unique ID, known as an Issuer Code, allowing access only to authorized users. The terminals distinguish between different user groups (up to 9), allowing for specific price settings and access limitations. They can also used as accounting terminals, tracking individual accounts.

Once access has been granted, each transaction will reduce the value on the card or account. The new value is then shown on the display of the terminal. If the balance is too low, the Copier Control Terminal will deny access to the machine until more value is added.

The terminals can measure in dollars and cents, and also in time or units. Electronic meters will provide a transaction summary, and they also contain internal memory logs of the transactions for reconciliation and settlement. With Windows based SmarTrack software in place, the 2010 terminals can be polled to facilitate complete systems transaction management.
