All libraries in the modern world are faced with growing demands for electronic media access that produces prints and copies. The control and cost recovery of these resources becomes a major requirement as the demand continues to escalate.

At ITC Systems we have the solution that enables libraries to provide these services and not incur a hit on their finances. Our cost recovery program begins with the card. It can be linked to the patron's card that contains a barcode and stored value media (smart or mag stripe) or be a separate card. The card is the key to the system as it allows access to various services and can be used to charge for their use.

The system will reserve and/or charge for PC time, charge for printing, pay for print, charge for copies made and be a copy card, allow for the payment of fines and will add value to the cards. Each module can be deployed separately, deployed in phases, or integrated across a whole library system. As with all of our stored value systems, reconciliation of all transactions is featured with the use of our SmarTrack software over your current LAN via TCP/IP.
