GameSmart Reader

The GameSmart Solution combines the smart card transaction software SmarTrack with powerful and easy to use smart card hardware components. The GameSmart smart cards hold programmable electronic purses, which may be displayed as ‘cash’ or ‘credits’. Winning may be deposited in either of the two purses contained on the smart chip.

The GameSmart Reader is constructed to endure high traffic environments and installs in the gaming machine’s bill validator cut-out. Play starts once a smart card is inserted and the card and purse amounts are validated. Players then select from 4 (programmable) play buttons that debit the cash purse and send credit signals to the game in the same manner a $5 bill would. If the player wins and presses the ‘cashout’ button on the game, the GameSmart reader will emulate the ticket dispenser or hopper and add winnings back to the card.

For over the counter sales, the Mini Till, model 2035, can be used to charge up the value to the cash purse or redeem value from the card. For self-service value adding our Loaders is the answer. They are your 24 hour cashier, dispensing cards and revaluing them using cash or credit cards.

ITC Systems’ powerful SmarTrack software is at the center of the GameSmart Solution. SmarTrack has been designed to collect the stored transaction logs from all GameSmart devices at a location. Once these logs have been collected, SmarTrack then reconciles all the transactions and provides the financial reports required by an operator.
